Grant
"My goal in every case is the same: make sure you always know what's happening, always feel heard, and always have someone genuinely fighting for your outcome — not just processing your file."
The Attorney Who
Actually Answers the Phone
For more than 13 years, Joseph Grant has dedicated his career to helping families across South Florida navigate some of life's toughest challenges. From divorce and child custody to domestic violence and dependency cases, his goal is the same in every matter: provide compassionate, personalized legal support that eases the burden and helps families move forward with confidence and peace of mind.
Joseph firmly believes that no two cases are the same, which is why he takes a client-first approach to every situation. He takes the time to listen carefully to your concerns, understand the unique dynamics of your family, and craft solutions tailored to your specific needs. Whether that means negotiating a fair settlement, facilitating mediation, or stepping into the courtroom to advocate on your behalf, he is there to fight for the resolution you deserve.
His practice spans the full range of Florida family and civil law — contested and collaborative divorce, child custody and time-sharing, child support, alimony with full command of Florida's 2023 reform, property division, domestic violence injunctions, and dependency matters. Family law clients are not typical legal clients — they are often going through the most emotionally difficult period of their lives. Joseph's clients consistently describe an experience that is responsive, transparent, and genuinely invested in their outcome.
Growing up in Juno Beach, Joseph has always felt a strong connection to the South Florida community. He is a proud member of the Florida Bar and actively participates in local associations, non-profit organizations, and community functions. It's an honor for him to serve the families of the Treasure Coast and Palm Beach County, and he represents every client with the integrity and dedication they deserve. When he's not advocating for clients, Joseph enjoys spending time with his black lab Midnight, a strong cup of coffee and a good book, and far too many swings across 18 holes of golf.
"I hired Gorman Law for my divorce and was lucky enough to work with Joe Grant and Elaine. They were consistently available, answered every question, and I truly felt supported and respected the entire time. From the first phone call until mediation day — I knew Joe had my back."
"I needed a lawyer and Jeff Gorman's firm delivered in every way. I had the pleasure of working with Joe Grant — truly not your typical lawyer. He really cares and has been by my side every step of the way. We were able to get a favorable decision."
"Joe Grant guided me through my divorce with patience and genuine care. He listened, explained every option clearly, and fought for what mattered most to me and my children. I never felt like just another case file."
